Got a great haircut and the atmosphere is very nice, I got to take a picture with the butterfly in the waiting room, it was a fun expirience😁

I find it interesting that someone can.open a new salon and turn down customers. I regularly go to Blueridge Cosmetology school in Flat Rock to get my roots touched up. I mentioned to the owner I need someone to fall back on when they are closed. They take long breaks and I need an alternative option. I told her she can dictate the price she charges. She offerred to buy my color for me, didnt buy it, then texted me that she wasn't interested in doing my hair. I have friends and neighbors who need an alternative as well. The owner actually TURNED ME DOWN for services!! Very strange, Likely doesn't want the word to get around that they charge 30$ for root touch up and 5$ for a haircut. And they do a VERY good job!!

Dear Lori, you were not happy with the price quote. I did everything to accommodate you. I quoted you a price far below market value, can you wrote back that the price for the color was too steep. I was happy to take care of you I went out of my way to even go to a store and research the proper color that you wanted. I'm sorry that you're not happy and I wish you the best with all your hair care endeavors. I always strive to treat all my customers the very best but sometimes we cannot please everybody. It is not uncommon for salon owners to have to turn away customers for various reasons. This was not the proper salon for you because you are not satisfied with the price even though I worked with you and I discounted my services price considerably. I wish you all the best.
Sometimes, even just a word of encouragement or showing support in any form can make a huge difference. So that's what I'm doing 😉.

It’s tough dealing with negative reviews, especially when they aren’t accurate.
One of the frustrating things about Google reviews—once they’re posted, it’s hard to get them removed unless they violate Google's review policies.
Advise, Create a QR code for your customers that leads directly to your Google Review page. You could even get creative with how you display the QR code—on the customers receipt, social media, on your website, or in the salon. A lot of positive reviews can definitely help boost your overall rating.
Another strategy, re-comment on his review periodically, so he'll receive multiple notifications to rectify the error. Prayerfully he will feel convicted to correct the error.
Every challenge is a chance to grow. 🩷

Shame on people for leaving reviews when they haven’t even been to a business. Don’t always trust reviews, especially on Google. They are probably a barber who has very few customers. Go see Margie. She’s a very nice professional barber who goes above and beyond for her clients.
